The series "Questão de Saúde", divided into 5 episodes, covers two centuries of history, from the discovery of the first vaccine in 1796 to 2021, addressing the challenges of Covid-19 vaccination. The goal of the series is to be a tool for disseminating information to strengthen the image of the SUS (Brazil's Unified Health System) and the importance of vaccination.

To compose the videos, historical materials from vaccination campaigns conducted by the National Immunization Program (PNI) were recovered, including unpublished VHS archives of the first designs of the character Zé Gotinha, as well as the first photographs and records from Fiocruz laboratories.

"Questão de Saúde" was produced by the National Council of Municipal Health Secretaries (Conasems) through the ImunizaSUS project, and in partnership with the Ministry of Health.

ImunizaSUS began in March 2021 with the aim of training health professionals working in vaccination rooms across the country and also students in health-related courses. Beyond training more than 34,000 students, ImunizaSUS developed a research project in partnership with the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) to understand, among other issues, the reasons for vaccine hesitancy in Brazil.

The series "Questão de Saúde" represents the third arm of ImunizaSUS's efforts, focused on communicating with the Brazilian public. The central proposal of the series is to deliver accessible, high-quality information from reliable sources about public health.
